I've been brainstorming this todo list on my PDA (yes, I have a smartphone AND still use a PDA for some things).

What does it mean? Big changes are coming, and we need to figure out what they are. Also, I think it might mean that, for at least a time (months? years?), we will have two muds running.

There's a lot more detail to go with these for implementation, these are just the general bullets (not that any of this is set in stone).

  • Axe Wizard
  • Axe Priest
  • Axe Memorize and pray
  • Turn all classes into a guild (allows true multi-class, and all classes use guild code)
  • Pick main guild on create (primary classes, sorc, war, etc)
  • Decide what to do about remorting, and making lost bonus' attainable else wise
  • Web page for creating a character (all graphical and fancy)
  • Drop max level of 'primary guilds' to 30 (everything max level 30)
  • Create more guilds to give skills/ spells that would be lost by level drop
  • Return old damage exp calculations
  • ability to restrict eq by guild
  • Major web site content update (whole site needs revamp, but our content alone sucks it)
  • Clashing guilds (can't be that guild if you're in this one)
  • More stuff with housing (vague)
  • Taxes on player housing
  • Player built towns, higher taxes, shops, etc
  • More web site integration, instead of in-game help
  • Wiki to put all skill data?
  • Turn races into guilds (more code consolidation primarily)
  • Hometown Bonus'
  • Multiple race guild memberships for half-breeds
  • More cohesive world (what does that mean?)
  • Vehicles (mounts, carriages)
  • More sophisticated player bs, like marriage
