Latest pondering... priest is not popular... wizard isn't highly popular any more either

  • Remove Priest as a class
  • create priest as remort-only, cleric-only sub-class
  • This would allow a cleric/priest to use mana or memorize for any spell (or mixed)
  • would need to decide which would be consumed first (mana or pray)


Same for wizard...

only I was thinking to remove scribe from wizards... and create a sorcerer-only sub-class that has been talked about before... Spellweaver

Spellweaver

  • Must be a sorcerer/wizard (high level 30 wizard required) (creating a sorc/wiz/sw combo)
  • scribe, in two forms...
    • First, works same as scribe does now...
    • Second (at higher levels), create scrolls that grant casts (grant scrolls)
  • Leveling requires something complex, or at least not as simple just exp or kills
