Just an aside regarding the quest...

I think the items were too easy to gather and assemble. I think the location was too centralized and low-level friendly for the strength of the overall items (I didn't realize up front that in addition to the applies on the items, that each one had a bevvy of perm affects...).

It's all well and good to have low-mid level friendly quests - but this probably wasn't the way to go. It reminds me of the quest a few years back in the Mid Graveyard - 3 very powerful items, that people were able to make TONS of due to low repop times, and very easy area to clear.

I personally should have reviewed the parameters of the quest in a bit more detail - but I think maybe we should be a bit more reluctant to allow morts to run quests of this magnitude (from an eq standpoint) in the future ...
